Ubud to Sanur

Saturday, November 27
We left Ubud for Sanur.  Our stay in Ubud was too short, and we hardly saw any of it.  Ubud is the cultural and spiritual center of Bali.  Along the way to Sanur we stopped at a family-operated silver smith shop.  Barbara bought a lot of silver jewelry for gifts.

We also stopped at a batik shop and watched the artists at work.

Barbara bought a beautiful sarong and some gifts.

Saturday afternoon we arrived at the Bali Hyatt in Sanur.  We had lunch at one of the three lovely restaurants overlooking the ocean.

A beautiful walkway goes for several kilometers along the ocean.

The gardens at the Hyatt are spectacular.  More than 600 species of plants and animals can be found here.

We enjoyed watching the koi in the lily pond.

And also a huge monitor lizard

That also enjoys the fish

We noticed Doron and Lauren enjoying breakfast across the pond

Saturday night we had our final dinner together at a restaurant on the beach.
Sunday, November 28
We had our last morning yoga with Doron in front of the ocean.
I am especially grateful to Doron for organizing this trip.  Doron is a great yoga teacher, and a beautiful person, and I am blessed to have him in my life.

The Hyatt offers a fabulous breakfast buffet.
After breakfast we hung out by the pool.
